Villa Oleandro is situated in one of the most
beautiful locations of the Sorrentine Coast. The district overlooks the
sea and is surrounded by elegant villas, enchanting gardens, and
tempting orchards. The Villa itself is situated in an exclusive estate
with access to a private beach.
The Villa - built in the 70s
- facade faces the sea with a verandah all-round
- large and semi-circle shaped
- blends in well with its luxurious garden and environment
- from the avenue the main entrance opens onto a flight of steps,
divided by small flowered terraces, leading to the two-storey residence.
First Floor The first floor contains rooms reserved for guests: small
and family.
Small suites Each suitable for two people, with a brass ornate double
bed, furnishings in wood, and a large bathroom with accessories. The
adjoining verandah overlooks the sea through large arched window.
Family flats Each with a double bedroom and wrought iron bedstead,
wardrobe manufactured in quality wood, large bathroom with accessories,
and a small interconnecting bedroom with two single beds. The
surrounding terrace overlooks the sea through panoramic windows.
All the rooms are painted and decorated in matching orange colours and
soft tints. The nearness of the sea and the large sweeping expanse of
glass, give the impression of being on a cruise ship in the middle of
the ocean.
From the lower floor, a wooden spiral staircase rises to the above large,
arch-shaped salon. The focal point of the salon is the fire surround, in
front of which sits an attractive coffee table with matching furniture.
The villa is characterised by wooden window frames and staved panels.
The floors throughout the house are paved by fresh looking, brilliant
white, “cotto” tiles, decorated with the matching wooden colours of the
house itself.
The central window is an impressive glass door that opens onto a terrace.
The ample, furnished terrace follows the contours of the building and
overlooks the sea across a valley of gardens and villas. Capri, Ischia,
and the Flegrean coast are visible from the terrace. At the back of the
house, an exterior staircase leads from the Winter Garden to the roof.
