The building: The building was completed in
1865 on Semeraro project under the commission of an ancient Neapolitan
countess.
The entire building was used as Hotel Bristol. In 1917, after the first
world war, the influx of client decreased and so it was converted in
residence of several beautiful apartments (it seems that also S. Teresa
lived in the hotel because she was waiting to be visited by the famous
doctor Cardarelli).
The district where is located the Bed&Breakfast is Chiaia , between
Posillipo hill and Plebiscito Square, crossed by elegant streets, as Via
Caracciolo, in front of the sea.
So you can found there, comfort, silence and centrality at the same time.
All the tourist centre are reachable by busses or funiculars (typical
Neapolitan hill-tube).
The house: Ancient house with epoch trade and beautiful modern furniture.
Big living room with fire stone and sofa area. Double bedroom all reserved
with private bath.
The living is provided with air conditioning and all the house has boiler
for heating in winter time.
Breakfast (on choice) is provided in the bedroom or in the living in front
of the fire stone.
The area: Linking: The place is well linked from Funicolare di Chiaia stop
(3o Mt).
The commercial centre of Vomero, one of the best of the city, is easily
reachable with funicular. In the other direction you can reach Amedeo Square
where you can take the second line of metro to reach the central station.
Hidrofoils for the Gulf islands are reachable at Mergellina terminal or at
the harbour, both linked by busses.
